I am an Associate Professor of Statistics at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic.
I hold a Ph.D. in Statistics (Charles University in Prague, 2008) and previously worked as a Statistician at the University of Bern and in the University Hospital Lausanne (CHUV), as a Postdoctoral Researcher at École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), and as a Research Assistant in the Institute of Information Theory and Automation (ÚTIA), Prague and Charles University in Prague.
My main research interests are methodological, applied and computational aspects of statistical inference with stochastic processes which includes mainly functional data analysis and survival analysis.
