Research

Research interests

Most of my research work is connected with the broad topic of statistical inference with stochastic processes: data are represented as stochastic processes, models and methods of their analysis are motivated by, developed through or justified by theories and techniques for stochastic processes. In particular, my interests include:

  • Functional data analysis
  • Survival and event history analysis, point processes
  • Inverse problems
  • Non- and semi-parametric procedures
  • Quantile methods, goodness-of-fit inference
  • Robust analysis
  • Applications in the natural sciences
